LAILA — Multi-Agent AI Learning Management System

LAILA is an open-source learning management system built around multi-agent AI tutoring. It ships with seven pedagogical agents across two categories (professional tutors and peer personas), four routing modes including collaborative multi-agent interaction, and a Student Agent Builder where students design their own AI tutors as a learning activity. The platform integrates browser-based R execution via WebR, multi-provider LLM support (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Ollama, and others), AI-powered content generation, and process-level learning analytics across five deployment surfaces.
